Philosophies and Goals for the Heat Showcase Baseball Team and Players:
Head Coach Jason Harris and the coaches have come up with a plan for making this team a one of a kind organization that has the best instruction possible to take the players to the next level and making The Heat a "Showcase Baseball Team".
Remember that this "Showcase" type of baseball is the best way to take our team to the next level of baseball. We have talked with a few organizations that have had great success taking their teams to the next level and have achieved this in different ways. We have made the decision on which direction would best fit our player's needs.
Some of the teams play tournaments only with no instruction or practice, and other programs have all instruction with zero game play. What we would like to do is combine the two philosophies and give our kids one on one instruction as well as playing in tournaments.
The one thing that we all have to keep in mind is that these talented players need to go to the next level and get the right training and exposure as soon as possible.
